Viswanath is a seasoned professional with over 19 years of diverse experience in Finance, Strategy & Growth. In his recent role, he spearheaded the global initiatives and led three pivotal business verticals at Noon & Namshi (the biggest e-commerce player in MENA). He was instrumental in driving one of the most significant initiatives for Noon and Namshi—the International Cross Border Marketplace—seen as a transformative force for the companies' future growth. Viswanath played a key role in product development, particularly in building integration and API solutions for marketplace operations, and was also critical in scaling Noon's Private Label business. Additionally, Viswanath was a member of the CEO's core team at Namshi, contributing to post-acquisition projects across multiple teams.

Earlier in his career, Viswanath was part of the consulting arm of Genpact, delivering strategic projects across Telecom, Manufacturing, and Hospitality sectors both nationally and internationally. His early career included roles at ICICI and ANB Consulting, where he honed his financial and strategic expertise.

A Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors (USA), Viswanath has also been a founder and a mentor/board member for various startups. He has a passion for analyzing and investing in startups across diverse industries. ​
