About

Turkish-American Business Association, American Chamber of Commerce in Türkiye (TABA-AmCham), is a non-governmental organization established by a Council of Ministers decision in 1987, operating in the public interest. It aims to develop commercial, economic, and cultural relations between Türkiye and the United States. Headquartered in Istanbul, it operates through branches in Ankara, Izmir, and Adana, as well as representative offices in the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Its institutional development accelerated during the period shaped by President Turgut Özal and President George H. W. Bush, strengthening Türkiye–U.S. economic relations and cooperation.

Today, TABA-AmCham supports Turkish companies’ access to the U.S. market in alignment with SelectUSA. Through the TABA-AmCham Business Club, TABA Academy, and TABA TALKS, it fosters business networking, entrepreneurship, and knowledge sharing. Its mission is to strengthen Türkiye–U.S. economic relations, increase mutual investments, and provide networking opportunities for the business community.
