Oktay Başpınar

Oktay Başpınar is the Chairman of the Board of Kayra Export and also the founder of Elonky, a domestic and national global e-export marketplace.

Başpınar started his commercial career in Kayseri’s historic Bedesten bazaar and has transformed his quarter-century of experience into expertise in the fields of e-commerce, e-export, digital transformation, and global marketplace systems.

Under the umbrella of Kayra Export, he has established an integrated e-export ecosystem managing production, operations, logistics, software, and global sales processes across many categories, especially home textile and home decoration products. Today, the company has a strong structure exporting to more than 170 countries.

Elonky.com, founded by Başpınar, is a domestic and national e-export marketplace project aiming to connect manufacturers in Turkey with global buyers. Elonky is positioned as a next-generation platform supporting manufacturer-to-consumer and manufacturer-to-retailer sales models, aiming to enable local manufacturers to access global markets more easily, sustainably, and accessibly.

The project aims to expand e-export across broader segments, support the digitalization of SMEs, increase the visibility of domestic production in global markets, and contribute to Türkiye’s export volume.

As of 2026, Oktay Başpınar serves as a Board Member of the Istanbul Carpet Exporters’ Association and Chairman of the Web Portal Committee.

At the same time, Başpınar also serves on the Digital Technologies Sector Board of the MÜSİAD Headquarters and continues to contribute to Türkiye’s vision for e-export, digital trade, and technological transformation.
