Barbara Hagen

Barbara Hagen completed her postgraduate studies in International Business at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, as well as an LL.M. in International Tax Law. She began her career in the mergers and acquisitions department of Mobilkom Austria, later continuing in the same role at A1 Telekom Austria Group.

In 2011, she joined Österreichische Post (Austrian Post), where she went on to lead the Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions division as well as the branch network and banking control team. In the final quarter of 2020, she joined Aras Kargo as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She was later appointed CEO, succeeding Carsten Wallmann, and became the first female member of the company’s Board of Directors.

Hagen also serves as an Independent Board Member at Ray Sigorta and continues her role as Chair of the Supervisory Board of Aras Kargo Sports Club.
