Burak Akusta

Burak Akusta is a senior technology leader with more than 25 years of management and engineering experience in the technology and financial sectors. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU) in 1999, and later completed an MBA at Bahçeşehir University.

He began his career at leading Turkish banking institutions, including Türkiye İş Bankası and Finansbank, where he worked as a software engineer and systems analyst. He later advanced his expertise in financial technologies through senior project leadership roles at Aktif Bank.

Akusta has also held international business development and executive leadership positions. He served as Managing Director at HMC Digital and as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at SEPA Cyber Technologies, where he led strategic management initiatives.

He currently serves as Executive Vice President at Global IT International, where he oversees global strategies for sales, marketing, and cloud engineering teams focused on Google Cloud, Google Workspace, and WEOLL solutions.

He specializes in cloud transformation, DevOps architectures, and enterprise AI governance. In addition to his executive role, he is an active speaker and mentor at prominent industry platforms such as the Turkish Artificial Intelligence Initiative (TRAI), where he shares his expertise in technology and digital transformation.
