Tunç Günbey

Tunç Günbey graduated from Kadıköy Anadolu High School and subsequently from the Tourism Management Department of Boğaziçi University.

During his university years, he founded his first venture, Karia Tourism, where he gained early experience in operations and team management by providing qualified personnel for fairs, concerts, and event organizations.

In 2002, he founded and operated Big Byte Computers technology stores in the province of Ontario, Canada.

In 2007, he joined the Reklamz Group of Companies, and in 2010, as Direct Sales Group Director, he led projects that introduced SMEs to digital advertising. During the same period, he founded Firsatpaketi.com, one of Turkey’s first regional discount platforms.

In 2014, together with his wife Gökçe Günbey and German partners Ströer, he founded Digital Partners, an agency that brought digital marketing services together under one roof. Following a restructuring in 2022, the agency was renamed Group DP and continues its operations through the brands Brandlift, Uplift, and P-UX.

Headquartered in Istanbul, Group DP also operates in various markets through its offices in London, New Jersey, and Casablanca.

At Group DP, Tunç Günbey managed teams across media, UX, and creative disciplines, oversaw the operations of six companies, and transferred the CEO role to his wife in 2023.

For the past three years, he has been serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Cypien AI, focusing on artificial intelligence and data-driven growth technologies. He develops solutions in the fields of generative and hyper-personalized commerce that transform consumer experiences into real-time, personalized interactions for brands.
