Prior to founding Tanto Capital Partners, Mr. Özkural had a distinguished career as a senior investment banker, having spent most of his career at Merrill Lynch &running a business with a balance sheet of over US$2.5bn.

He has been elected as a member of the Foreign Policy Leadership Council of the Brookings Institution and a member of YPO, and regularly lectures at the University of Cambridge.
