CNN TÜRK was established on October 11, 1999, through a joint venture between Doğan Media Group and Time Warner. CNN TÜRK is the first national channel managed outside Atlanta under the CNN brand and broadcasting 24-hour news in a national language. It is also the first television channel in Türkiye founded in partnership with a foreign media organization. In 2018, it became part of the Demirören Media Group.
CNN TÜRK broadcasts news, current affairs, lifestyle, economy, and sports programs, serving as a strong example of independent, impartial, and principled journalism.
