Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSİAD); is a “Businessmen’s Association” founded in Istanbul on May 9, 1990 by sensitive businessmen who set out with the dream of a Turkey where rights and law, justice and equality, peace and security, prosperity and happiness are ensured; where local and universal values that have become part of history and society are observed; and which is whole within itself, effective in its region, in the economic and political fields, and respected in the world.
With a membership exceeding 14,000, MÜSİAD;
• represents nearly 60,000 enterprises and provides employment for approximately 2,000,000 people,
• has 84 contact points within the country, conveying its members’ problems, opinions, and suggestions directly to public institutions and organizations,
• operates in 84 different countries abroad with a total of 183 points,
It is a strong “Non-Governmental Organization” with “public benefit association” status, which has become a model education, guidance, and consultancy center not only for the business world but also for other segments of society, bases its practices and activities on a professional mindset, and is a “Non-Governmental Organization”.
MÜSİAD’s mission is; as a businessmen’s association that operates independently and without affiliation at national and international level, to increase the number of members who share predetermined principles and values, to develop solidarity among its members, and with the sense of unity and togetherness it achieves within itself, to contribute to the material and spiritual development of our country.
