Hamza Aytaç Doğanay
In 2000, he graduated from the Police College with a third-place ranking and completed his education at the Police Academy, which he had begun, in 2004, after which he started his professional career. In 2019, he completed his Master’s degree with a thesis in Digital Forensics at Ankara University. He is the author of the book titled “Current Challenges Encountered in Mobile Device Digital Forensics and Chain of Custody,” published in 2020. Hamza Aytaç DOĞANAY, who has training and experience in fields such as Microsoft Systems Engineering, Digital Forensics expertise, Cybercrime Investigation, and Online Covert Investigation, served for 6 years as a manager and digital forensics expert at the Cyber Crimes Department of the Turkish National Police (EGM). He has delivered numerous presentations both internationally and domestically, including “iPhone Data Security (LOCARD, 2018),” “Criminal Justice Statistics on Cyber Crime and Electronic Evidence (Romania, 2018),” “Analysis of an Infostealer (South Korea, 2019),” and “Challenges Encountered in Countering Cyber Terrorism (e-Safe, 2019).” He currently serves as a consultant to the Council of Europe Cybercrime Programme Office (C-PROC) and as a member of the Advisory Board of the Cyber Security Application and Research Center at Istanbul Gelisim University, while continuing his duties as a Lecturer at Ankara University’s Information Technology Department, specializing in the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) compliance process, information security, and digital forensics. He has also founded Doğanay Cyber Security Technologies Ltd. Şti. at Hacettepe Technopolis, continuing to apply his experience in the field. He is also one of the developers of the AI-supported cyber policing tool KA’OS (Cognitive Augmented Offensive System), thereby contributing to strengthening Türkiye’s cyber resilience to the highest level.
