Metehan Demir
He graduated from the Turkish Air Force Academy in 1990. In 1995, he began his journalism career at Turkish Daily News. Between 1997 and 2000, he worked as a Defense and Diplomacy Correspondent for Hürriyet Newspaper. In 2000, he completed the Foreign Policy Dynamics certificate program in Washington, D.C. In 2002, he received a master's degree in War Studies from King's College London, with a focus on the adaptation of Strategy, Diplomacy, and War Tactics to Modern Corporate Management. In 2010, he completed the Harvard Executive Program.
Demir held executive positions for many years at Sabah, Kanal D, and Hürriyet Newspaper. He currently serves as the Political and Economic Affairs Commentator for Haber Global.
He provides strategic risk analysis consulting on political and economic developments to several major holding companies in Turkey, the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), chambers of commerce and industry, non-governmental organizations, and international corporations.
