Tuğer Akkaya

Tuğer Akkaya is a Turkish e-commerce consultant, educator, and digital entrepreneur with a career spanning the early evolution of the internet to today’s global digital commerce ecosystem.

He began his journey in the digital industry in 1997 as a web designer, gaining early hands-on experience in web technologies and digital marketing. Over time, he shifted his focus toward global e-commerce, developing expertise in marketplace strategy, cross-border trade, and digital retail infrastructure.

In 2013, he founded Tuger, a company specializing in e-commerce consulting, software integrations, and logistics solutions. Today, he continues to lead both Tuger LLC in the United States and Tuger A.Ş. in Türkiye, managing operations across international markets.

Throughout his entrepreneurial journey, he has developed and contributed to several digital commerce and logistics-focused initiatives, including platforms such as Shipbu and Shopbu, designed to support e-commerce infrastructure and shipping integrations for online sellers.

He is also recognized as an official Amazon mentor, with deep expertise in cross-border e-commerce and international marketplace strategies. In this role, he advises both individual entrepreneurs and corporate brands on expanding into global markets and optimizing their digital sales performance.

Beyond his professional work, Tuğer Akkaya is committed to knowledge sharing. Through his “İstifade Ettiren Fikirler” content series, he regularly publishes educational videos on YouTube and Instagram, providing guidance for entrepreneurs aiming to build businesses on platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, and other global marketplaces.
