Deliveroo and Alshaya Group Establish Retail Partnership in the UAE and Kuwait

Deliveroo Middle East has signed a strategic partnership with international retail franchise operator Alshaya Group. As part of the collaboration, Alshaya Group’s globally recognized brands will be delivered to customers in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait through the Deliveroo platform. Covering categories such as beauty, personal care, children’s products, toys, and home products, the partnership will strengthen Deliveroo’s retail vision that extends beyond food and grocery delivery.

More Than 10 Brands Will Be Available on the Deliveroo Platform

Under the agreement, more than 10 popular brands will be offered to customers through Deliveroo. In the first phase, brands such as Boots, Bath & Body Works, NYX Professional Makeup, Mothercare, Muji, Ulta Beauty, Dr. Vranjes, and Disney Store will be available on the platform. It was stated that Disney Store products will be offered exclusively with Deliveroo delivery. It was also announced that this process is the first phase of a broader rollout and that new brands will be added to the platform in the coming period.

Alshaya Group Accelerates Its Omnichannel Growth

Kuwait-based Alshaya Group, one of the family businesses established in 1890, is today among the world’s leading brand franchise operators. The company represents more than 50 international brands across the Middle East and North Africa, Türkiye, and Europe. While Alshaya Group’s portfolio includes more than 3,500 stores, cafés, restaurants, and entertainment destinations, the company operates with more than 50,000 employees.

Talwar noted that by bringing a selected portfolio of globally loved brands to Deliveroo, they are strengthening the company’s retail offering and continuing to grow beyond food and grocery.

Rob Silsbury, Vice President of Marketing and E-Commerce at Alshaya Group, emphasized that the collaboration with Deliver oo offers a new way to bring brands to customers through a seamless and reliable delivery experience. Silsbury stated that the partnership supports Alshaya Group’s growth focus and provides customers with more options for shopping.

Deliveroo Strengthens Its Role in the Regional E-Commerce Ecosystem

With this partnership, Deliver oo aims to strengthen its investment in the Middle East and its role in the region’s developing retail and e-commerce ecosystem. While the collaboration offers retail brands the opportunity to create new revenue channels and reach a wider customer base, Deliveroo Plus members will also be able to benefit from rewards and free delivery advantages on eligible orders.
