The Turkish Home Textile Industry is a strong sector rooted in a tradition dating back thousands of years, based on the cultural heritage formed by many civilizations that lived on Anatolian lands. Since the 1970s, it has rapidly become mechanized and has developed its technology, gaining undeniable strength in the international arena. Since the 1980s, it has achieved an export boom and has established itself in all global markets.
Our sector began organizing as a civil society structure in 1991, keeping pace with similar developments seen worldwide in this field, and has made its voice heard by being represented in many international institutions.
At the point we have reached today, it has expanded its organizational structure under the name of the Association of Turkish Home Textile Industrialists and Businessmen, growing its membership to over a thousand, and continues its structured organization as the sole voice of our sector.
Our association, based on the motto “the only constant is change itself,” operates with the awareness that the only condition necessary for institutions to survive is to change and develop, and it continuously renews and improves itself every day, strengthening its formation in line with global realities.
In the future, it will further expand its integration with international institutions, carry out many activities both domestically and abroad, and make the voice of Turkish home textiles heard in the strongest possible way.
Today, increasing the number of our organizations sailing in international waters as home textile brands, enabling more brands to take place in global showcases, spreading across all continents, and making our products used in more homes are among our core objectives.
The Turkish Home Textile sector will grow much further with the synergy created by being a single association and the understanding of “one association, one heart,” and will sustain its indispensability in the global home textile industry by enriching its producer country image with new brands, maintaining its usual quality and reliable stance.
