Her Excellency Amna Lootah

Amna Lootah has served as the Director General of the Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ) since 2022. She is also the Director General of Dubai CommerCity, as well as a member of the Executive Leadership Team at the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ).

Under her leadership, DAFZ contributed 13.5 percent of Dubai’s total foreign trade in 2024, exceeding AED 330 billion. She also oversees the operations of Dubai CommerCity, the region’s first free zone dedicated to digital commerce, which has reached near full occupancy.

Lootah played a strategic role in the development of Oraseya Capital, the investment arm of DIEZ, which ranked the most active investor in the United Arab Emirates by number of deals with 25 investments during the year, representing the highest number of transactions executed by a single investor in the UAE. She also leads the operations of the Halal Trade and Marketing Center, which has strengthened its international presence through major projects, strategic initiatives, and partnerships across more than 35 countries in 6 continents.

In addition, she sits on the Board of Tradeling Holding, which in 2024 acquired the distribution operations of Axiom Telecom across the Middle East and North Africa.
