Onur Demirel

Onur Demirel is a Country Manager at Sky Accounting, a firm providing tax and accounting consultancy with a focus on the United States. He is a professional specialized in business development, e-commerce, and marketing. Throughout his career, he has provided strategic guidance primarily to entrepreneurs and companies aiming to expand into global markets.

In his role at Sky Accounting, he structures the financial processes for Turkish entrepreneurs establishing companies in the United States, ensuring compliance with state and federal tax regulations, managing financial infrastructure, and organizing the financial operations of cross-border e-export activities. He also develops sustainable growth models and payment solutions for businesses operating on global marketplaces such as Amazon, Etsy, and others.

With a strong academic background, Demirel completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Anadolu University. He later obtained two separate master’s degrees: in Marketing Management from Istanbul University and in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Bahçeşehir University. He further advanced his academic work by earning a PhD from Istanbul Technical University, where he wrote his dissertation on sustainability and digital technologies.
