Emre İlban
Emre İlban is a Turkish businessman and senior executive with more than 20 years of senior management experience in the fields of e-commerce, digital marketing, and retail operations. Throughout his career, he has led the digital transformation processes of Turkey’s leading retail and technology brands.
Education
He began his education at Kadıköy Maarif College and Anatolian High School, one of Istanbul’s well-established schools. He then completed his undergraduate education by graduating from the Economics Department of Dokuz Eylül University.
Career Journey and Experience
İlban started his professional career in the Individual Marketing department of Citibank, and following this first experience in the finance sector, he moved into the fast-moving consumer goods and ready-to-wear industries.
Early Management Period: He served as Sales and Marketing Manager at the T-box brand operating under Boyner Holding and at Dawgs Turkey.
Focus on E-Commerce and Digital Transformation: He played a key role as Strategy and Merchandising Director at Trendyol.com, one of Turkey’s largest e-commerce platforms. Following this experience, he assumed the position of Online Sales Director at the Collezione brand.
Corporate Leadership Period: In May 2017, he joined the mother-and-baby products retailer Ebebek as E-Commerce Director. He later managed digitalization and online sales operations within the retail giant Şok Marketler with the title of E-Commerce Director.
Current Work
Emre İlban initially joined ClickMeLive, Turkey’s next-generation live shopping platform, as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), and following his achievements there, he was appointed as the platform’s CEO.
Today, as the CEO of ClickMeLive, he manages the company’s growth strategies while also providing strategic consultancy and management services under Lumintis to brands of different scales in the fields of e-commerce, e-export, and digital commerce structuring. With his sectoral expertise, he regularly takes part as a speaker and panelist at national and international e-commerce summits.
