Sürat Lojistik is restructuring all its logistics processes, from warehouse management to distribution networks, with smart routing and automated warehousing systems. Sürat Lojistik General Manager Tarkan Türkel, who stated that they actively implement the systems they manage with algorithms in the field, said that a period has begun in which hours, not days, are being discussed in deliveries.
Bringing Türkiye’s logistics potential together with high technology, Sürat Lojistik is restructuring its operations with automated warehousing and smart routing systems across the process extending from warehouse operations to distribution networks. The company aims to increase operational efficiency and shorten delivery times with AI-supported algorithms and a data-driven management model.
Stating that the logistics sector is being shaped by two main trends in 2026, Sürat Lojistik General Manager Tarkan Türkel listed them as data/artificial intelligence and sustainability. Noting that the sector is still in the awareness phase of this transformation, Türkel said, “We are in a period in which hours, not days, are being discussed in deliveries. As Sürat Lojistik, we are already on the side that actively implements these systems, through which we manage routes and capacity with algorithms, in the field. We are not waiting for the future; we are building it.”

Türkel summarized the benefits they provide through smart routing and automated warehouses as follows: “We see the total benefit under three headings: cost discipline, visibility in customer experience, and manageability of the operation. On the customer side, real-time tracking and transparency increase trust.
Internally, managing processes from a single platform means faster and more accurate decisions. While we use technologies with international standards on the hardware side, we benefit from our own engineering infrastructure on the software and integration side. Systems that enable critical decisions such as capacity planning, pricing, and route management to be made with algorithms are developed in-house.”
Tarkan Türkel also noted that automation does not mean removing people from the process, but rather moving people away from physical and repetitive tasks into value-added positions that analyze data. He said they are strengthening their teams’ competencies in data management and system control. Türkel said, “In short, we have efficiently combined human intuition with the data-processing power of artificial intelligence. We have started to act with numbers, not intuition. Since our decision-making processes have become data-based, we have minimized our error rates.”
